Who we advise.

Do you advise zoos as well as field conservation?

Yes. Much of our work sits at the join between the two: helping a zoological institution become a conservation institution, with the master plan, breeding and recovery programmes, governance and partnerships that implies.

Is this a substitute for a statutory environmental assessment or veterinary advice?

No. We provide strategic, technical and financial advisory. Where a project requires an environmental impact assessment, veterinary or welfare certification, ecological survey or regulated work, we identify the need early and coordinate appropriately qualified practitioners.

How does an engagement start?

With a conversation. We agree the question, the stakeholders, the evidence already available and the decision the work needs to support. From that we propose a scope, a sequence of stages and the specialist inputs required.

Do you work outside Austria?

Yes. Our base is Eggendorf im Traunkreis in Upper Austria; our programme, partnership and investment work is international and usually delivered with local specialists and counterparts.

What does the technology work involve in practice?

Designing the monitoring question, the data pipeline and the model that answers it: camera-trap and acoustic classification, remote sensing, population viability analysis and the management system that keeps the evidence current. We coordinate the labs, data scientists and field teams; we do not sell hardware.

Can you support delivery, not just planning?

Yes. Stages four and five of our approach cover implementation support, programme assurance and performance management according to the agreed engagement.
